About — Manufacturing

Factory No. 9,
Sadat City.

CFC's production plant sits in the 4th Industrial Zone, Sadat City — Egypt's purpose-built chemicals and industrial hub, roughly 90 km northwest of Cairo. We batch, blend, and package there. Every product that leaves CFC leaves from that address.

01 — The Plant

Built to batch, not to store.

The Sadat City plant was designed around a single operating principle: produce to order, not to inventory. We don't hold large buffer stocks of finished product hoping demand materialises. Instead, we keep raw-material inventory well stocked, maintain calibrated batching lines, and compress the time from order to despatch.

Factory No. 9 covers the complete production cycle — raw-material intake, quality-controlled storage, batching and blending, in-process testing, packaging, and pallet staging for collection or delivery. The construction-chemicals and metallurgical-chemicals lines run in separate areas of the plant to prevent cross-contamination of raw materials.

02 — Batching

Fixed formulations. Measured inputs.

CFC products are manufactured to fixed formulations — not approximations. Every batch uses the same ingredient ratios, the same raw-material grades, and the same mixing sequence. This isn't difficult to achieve; it takes discipline in purchasing and checking, not exotic equipment.

Bulk liquid admixtures are batched in closed mixing vessels with calibrated dosing. Dry powder products — cementitious grouts, flux powders, repair mortars — are blended in tumble or ribbon mixers with weighed inputs. Packaging happens the same day as batching; we don't leave product sitting in intermediate storage before it's sealed.

03 — Process

How an order becomes a pallet.

  1. 01

Order confirmation. The sales team confirms product, volume, and packaging format. If the product needs a customer-specific formulation, that's settled at this stage.

  2. 02

Raw-material clearance. Raw materials for the batch are checked against the approved supplier list and the in-house specification. Off-spec materials are held — they don't go into the mixer.

  3. 03

Batching. Ingredients are weighed and loaded in sequence, and the mixing cycle is timed. For liquid admixtures, the target specific gravity is confirmed before the batch is closed.

  4. 04

In-process QA check. A sample is pulled mid-batch. Key parameters — consistency, pH for liquids, bulk density for powders — are measured against the reference. Out-of-specification batches are held for investigation.

  5. 05

Packaging and labelling. Product is packed to the confirmed format — drums, IBCs, sacks, or pails. Labels carry product name, batch number, production date, and technical-data reference.

  6. 06

Release and despatch. Final QA sign-off is required before the batch is staged for collection or delivery. The batch record is retained internally, and technical datasheets accompany every order.

We batch to order. Most products leave the plant within the same week they're produced.
04 — Capacity

Two divisions, one plant.

The plant runs construction chemicals and metallurgical chemicals as separate production streams. The construction side handles liquid admixtures, waterproofing systems, epoxy coatings and components, cementitious grouts, and repair mortars. The metallurgical side handles flux powders, mould-coating slurries, degassing tablets, and inoculant blends.

Capacity is planned weekly. The Sadat City plant runs below maximum utilisation by design — we keep headroom so large orders can be scheduled without pushing smaller customers to the back of the queue.
